Summer Season Starts May 24
Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 24. That's when we begin our fourth summer season with more than 60 vendors selling produce, organics, baked goods, prepared foods, arts, crafts and more at 11th and Milwaukee Avenue in downtown South Milwaukee. Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through Oct. 11. Check out the press release here, and prospective vendors can find an application here.

Special Week 1 Guest: Melinda Myers!
The Downtown Market is proud to announce that gardening expert, author and radio and TV host Melinda Myers is joining us for our 2012 opener. She'll be at the market starting at 3:30 p.m. doing demos and meeting fans. Stay tuned for more details ... and be sure to bring your gardening questions!

The South Milwaukee Downtown Market is truly a farmers' market ... and so much more! Stay tuned for details on the special events we have planned throughout the summer, including the return of our South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center outdoor concerts, three Groovy Movie Nights in August, our Health Fair (sponsored by South Shore Family Chiropractic) on Sept. 6, and Fall Family Festival on Oct. 11.
